Old Woman Ocean Paddle 2021
Not sure what The Old Woman Ocean Paddle is? It’s an 18km swim to Old Woman Island, starting at Mooloolaba and finishing at the Mooloolaba Spit. It’s the ultimate challenge for seasoned paddlers and an incredible event to spectate from the beachfront!
This spring, Old Woman Ocean Paddle Sunshine Coast is back to take over Mooloolaba Beach, complete with the 5km Little Woman Ocean Paddle, held on the same day.
Take part or soak up the atmosphere! Old Woman Ocean Paddle 2021 takes place on September 5.
Ironman 2021 Sunshine Coast
Just one week after Old Woman Ocean Paddle comes IRONMAN Sunshine Coast, and if 18km isn’t enough, this gruelling triathlon measures at 113km, comprising long-distance swimming, cycling and running.
Ironman 70.3 is one of Queensland’s largest triathlons, pulling in triathletes from all over Australia with spectators coming to cheer on and soak up the excitement.
And it starts on Mooloolaba Beach – right next to our Mooloolaba accommodation beachfront apartments at Aegean.
It’s another huge sporting event that shouldn’t be missed, set for September 12.
Sunshine Coast Expo 2021
But wait, there’s more! If the above isn’t enough, the huge annual Sunshine Coast Expo is back in September to take over Sunshine Coast Stadium for a full weekend of the stunning caravan, camping, boat and 4×4 exhibits.
Love the great outdoors or just looking for a fun weekend event with the whole family? Sunshine Coast Expo has the ingredients, boasting over 160 exhibitors selling and displaying the latest and greatest for outdoor lifestyle hobbyists.
What to expect? There’ll be live entertainment, jaw-dropping boat and vehicle displays, 4WD demonstrations, special guest talks, live competitions, discounted products to take home and lots more.
Get ready, because it comes for one whole weekend from September 24 to September 26.
