We have stayed at the Aegean a couple of times now, its just been repainted on the outside and has got new balcony furniture. The ocean or marina views are great rooms to get, especially in summer as the balcony’s are in the shade from early afternoon onwards. Its a great location right in the heart of Mooloolaba with great views and easy walking distance to everything. The interior rooms are a little dated but they were clean and comfortable and had all that we needed, including free wi-fi and the Tv had Chromecast so we could watch Netflix at night. The managers Andrew & Anna are friendly people who are happy to help if you need it. Room prices are very reasonable, will stay again for sure.
