Join the Swim Festival on March 2 and 3, 2019 on Mooloolaba Beach. There will be two long course ocean swims over two days. Bring your family along and enjoy the ocean swims. There will also be festival events that the whole family will enjoy.
The ocean swims will be exciting. Then on Sunday, there's the Mooloolaba Mile and short course events. The family can look forward to other activities aside from the ocean swims. There will be free public events such as beach yoga and an outdoor cinema.
Short Course Ocean Swims Mooloolaba Half Mile (800m)
The Mooloolaba Half Mile is a challenging course that is open to everyone even those with limited training. Have fun and set a new personal best. Juniors can test themselves in the open water and improve their swimming. This is a great short course that will help you improve your swimming. You'll join the Mooloolaba Mile course at the halfway mark and sprint to the finish line.
Junior Giants (300m & 800m)
The Junior Giants events are for kids aged 8 – 16. It’s never too early to join a swimming competition. The kids can compete with peers of the same age. This is a fun swimming course that kids will enjoy. The 300m Short Course is for kids aged 8 -16 years. The 800m Long Course is for kids aged 10-16 years. Bring your kids along and teach them about sports and sportsmanship. Cheer for them as they swim and race to the finish line.

There will be two point-to-point long course ocean swims over the two days. There will be the 2.5km A2M (Alexandra Headland to Mooloolaba) and the 1.6km Mooloolaba Mile.
The 2.5km has a starting point at Alexandra Headland SLSC all the way to Mooloolaba Beach. This is a difficult course that will push inexperienced swimmers to the brink. It is a favourite training swim for competitors.
The Mooloolaba Mile starts at Mooloolaba’s South-Eastern end (The Spit) and follows the path towards Mooloolaba SLSC.
Half Mile swimmers will join the Mooloolaba Mile course at the halfway mark, swim out behind the breakers to the final turn then back to the beach for a sprint to the finish.
Enjoy a sunrise yoga session on Mooloolaba Beach. Feel centred as you go through the yoga poses and meditation. Focus on yourself and enjoy a low impact yoga workout that will tone your muscles and improve your flexibility and mindfulness. Mooloolaba Beach provides a beautiful backdrop. Breathe in the cold ocean air and feel relaxed. Anyone is welcome to join. Just bring a beach towel instead of a yoga mat.
Sunrise Yoga will be held at Mooloolaba Beach at 6 am on Saturday and Sunday, March 2 and 3.
Outdoor Cinema will take place at Charles Clark Park, 13-47 River Esplanade on Saturday at 6:45 pm also on March 2 and 3. Treat yourself to a movie under the stars.
There will be two sessions. There will be an animation movie for the kids and then the main film to follow. Save the date and enjoy an outdoor cinema experience with your whole family. Relax and watch a movie under the starry skies.
The Mooloolaba Triathlon is back and bigger than ever. Enjoy the Mooloolaba triathlon from 15 – 17 March 2019. It’s one of the most exciting Sunshine Coast sports events.
The Mooloolaba Triathlon Festival will take place in the heart of the Sunshine Coast. It is known for its ocean swim. Athletes from all over will compete. Join in the fun and feel the excitement as athletes and competitors push themselves to give their personal best.
Mooloolaba 5km Twilight Run
The Twilight 5km Run is one of Australia's notable premier 5km road distance events. The event is open to everyone from experienced athletes to newcomers who want to join in the fun. Bring your family along and enjoy the Twilight Run.
The Mooloolaba 5km Twilight Run will be on 15 March 2019 at The Mooloolaba Esplanade.

Mooloolaba Ocean Swim
Swim, surf and compete in the ocean swim off Mooloolaba Beach. Great prizes are up for grabs. Join this exciting competition. Push yourself and be eligible to win an awesome prize as well. Save the date. The Mooloolaba Ocean Swim will be on 16 March 2019 at Main Beach, Mooloolaba.

Mooloolaba Superkidz Triathlon
Who says only adults can compete? The kids can join as well in this unique, kid-friendly version of the triathlon. Kids of all ages from 7-13 years are welcome to join.
Just for participating, competitors will receive a participation medallion as well as an official Mooloolaba Superkidz Triathlon Tshirt.
