Seaplane Tour Over Maroochydore

As you exit from the Maroochy River, your seaplane will taxi along the river before launching off into the air. Whale Watching and Swim with Whales Cruise

Whales are frequently seen off the coastline, especially during their migration period in the winter months. Sign up for a half day cruise out into the Coral Sea. You might spot a few whales. Share a fresh experience with the whales on this small-group tour. The tour starts early in the morning, so you’ll have time for afternoon activities.

Aside from the wetsuit, mask, snorkel and fins, food and drinks are also provided onboard. The boat will depart from The Wharf, Mooloolaba. The ship regularly departs at 8 am from Monday to Friday. Weekend tours are also available with the boat leaving at 7:30 am and 11:30 am.

Whale watching and swimming trips last for four hours during each trip. Each tour is limited to 20 participants.

The moment a whale is sighted, the boat will go nearer. If the conditions are safe, the motor will be turned off, and the swimmers will be permitted to go into the water. The swimmers will hold on to a floating line attached to the boat for safety.

Whales are curious animals. They may opt to swim near or swim away. Swimmers are not permitted to touch the whales. The crew will guide the swimmers to help them spot the whales. Whale sightings are not guaranteed. But this trip is still worth taking.

Sunset Cruise

Treat yourself to an evening on the Sunshine Coast. Take a sunset cruise in Mooloolaba. You’ll sail along the Mooloolaba River and its canals. The relaxing ambience and twilight scenery will lull you into a peaceful feeling.

Food and drinks are available. There are a seafood menu and full bar on board. Cruise along Mooloolaba and see the magnificent sunset from the water. Enjoy some live commentary. Savour tasty food and refreshing drinks.

The cruise lasts for two hours. Food and beverage can be purchased onboard.

The boat will depart from The Wharf Mooloolaba at 5 pm.

Sunset Cruise Mooloolaba is available from Thursday through to Sunday 5pm-7pm at 123 Parkyn parade, The Wharf Mooloolaba. Please be there 20 minutes before departure.
